Syracuse football recruiting: Class of 2017 kicker Jeff Chan will walk on for the Orange

Syracuse head coach Dino Babers added his 27th class of 2017 commit on Tuesday in walk on Jeff Chan.

Class of 2017 kicker Jeff Chan will walk on at Syracuse, he announced in a tweet early Tuesday morning.

Chan was third-team all-state his senior year. Standing at 5-foot-10, and weighing 175 pounds, Chan’s longest field goal was 44 yards, per his highlight video.

The Punahou, Hawaii, native is the 27th player in Dino Babers’ second class at SU and the only kicker. You can view the rest of the 2017 class here.
